Iowa 2026 Dove opener week

the 2026 Iowa dove season had to start on a Tuesday , so many could not get to go due to work, on Wednesday the 2nd , me, my wife Ashley and grandkids Makena and Arron went, boy it was hot and humid, only 2 other hunters on public land very unusual, the birds honestly in our area just were not flying, so the kids just up and decided to wrestle each other. They had some fun, both got new shotguns this year and did actively shoot at any dove coming our way , just missed a lot as learning takes time. overall we had fun even though we did not get anything , the kids got out and gave it a shot. that's what its about my friends. Iowa 2026 dove opener week, looking forward to more .
